ABOUT ME

Hi. My name's Ollie. I was born in Winchester, Hampshire in the UK, where I have lived most of my life. I'd like to say I had an adventurous childhood, but I spent most of it indoors, playing games and reading, like your run-of-the-mill introvert.
I never planned to become to be a writer. I chose my GCSE options under the impression I was going to work with computers, and my A-levels as though I was going to be a psychologist. In my second year of sixth-form, I changed my mind to linguist (I can butcher Spanish on command) and started to look into language degrees. It wasn't until I sat in on a literature talk on an open day that I knew for sure what I wanted. Writing had been a long-time hobby of mine, but a writer always sounded like a fairy-tale career, like pirate or wizard.
Yet here I am now, working my way through an undergraduate English Literature and Creative Writing degree at the University of Warwick. I put a lot of work and love into my writing, and I hope you feel the love when you read it.
